Immortal
9 March, 2008
Author: RinRin
In the darkness I feel blown away
like the leaves through the glass.
Heart spilt, soda, fizzing.
Tearing into me with the fury
of a wolf cub.
Those sharp nails, fresh from the womb.
New. Ageless. Immortal time.
Give me something to hold onto.
Give me ageless.
She turns to her side at every sleep.
Wakes to every click.
Wails.
I tear myself away from the fantasy
that I made myself so used to.
Adjustment betrays me. I feel as
I am young again,
burdened by the slightest.
My eyes swim in their tears,
not knowing what else is possible.
Inexperienced. Timeless age.
Immortal rage.
