Sins Of The Same
9 March, 2008
Author: Silent Voice
the blackness that hides within me
is torture to my soul
I had asked for regret
for the actions I choose
but when it came to the surface
I hated myself
and longed for distance from all
but the darkness is still there
wanting more
hoping to devour
and hoping to consume
so I linger from behind
hoping you will not stare
I temp you
as if I cared
the tightness of our bond
blinds me of your beauty
I know nothing but what I have done
I walk away, cursing you
as if you were to blame
yet the sin is my stain
and the blackness still remains
