Life Is Not Like This

Run away with me, We'll go somewhere the rest of the world hasn't damaged.
Where the sky is so blue that the sun looks like a gold coin shining in the deep blue sea.
Lets sit under an Oak tree with a blanket and blow fuzzy petals from dandelions.
There is a make shift swing hanging from the Oak tree and we stay here for some time,
Joking and laughing until my sides ache.
WHY IS LIFE NOT LIKE THIS?

Kick of your shoes lets paddle in this cold stream that's shallow and refreshing.
There are some form of very small fish in the stream and we try to catch them with our
Bare hands and end up getting soaking wet.
WHY IS LIFE NOT LIKE THIS?

No one else around to create problems, start trouble, or interfere, just you and I.
Kicking up the sand on an old beaten track, it looks like a horse has just ridden by,
Clouds of dust everywhere.
Gathering wild flowers, Listening to the many different birds, and watching wildlife in
Every corner of this place, nature at its best.
Bees are the only busy creatures here.
WHY IS LIFE NOT LIKE THIS?

Picking strawberries as we stroll through a small wood and eating as many as we
Are picking.
I wonder for a brief second what time it is,
And then an uncontrollable smile appears on my face,
What difference does it make here?

WHY IS LIFE NOT LIKE THIS?
