10th Anniversary Of My Fate
19 March, 2008
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Ten years ago I had to face my fate.
With one word, "Tumor" I lost everything even my mate.
Lost my driving license, gone
Lost my job------- gone
Lost my independance------gone.
Found myself------gained.
Found what matters--gained.
Found peace and contentment--gained.
I'm finally using my brain.

Bipedalguy (65.96.237.196) -- Friday, March 21 2008, 04:18 pm That's inspiring. You seem to have replaced what you lost by gaining a new and learned perspective of the world with all of it's problems. Don't worry about messing up with names. Sometimes when I'm driving I totally forget where I was going. When this happens I sometimes have no idea of where I am. Luckily, my car seems to know the way. Bipe |
