Little Egypt Falls
27 March, 2008

Ruby red river running
over mountain rocks
falling over the edge
rushing to crash
upon the smoother
rocks below
streaming past me
over the emerald-green
mossy stones along
the river's banks
and I decide to
make my camp on
the opposite side
away from you
Because beneath
Little Egypt Falls
is where I
regained my youth

Ruby red river running
over your head
Emerald green dreams
waiting for you
in bed
