The Frighten Of The Dark
1 January, 1970
Author: Dino Hi
The shadow of night comes, gray skull face
Black hooded top, hair a black mangy waste
They enter the Revenge, to late to turn back, on their way
Shadow of night, disappeared in back, sneaking away
Moving swiftly, he becomes the shadow, an eye
The ghost of dark, moving silently ahead, he spy
Like an owl flying, not a sound
Quiet bird calls, to the deaf ears around
Becomes their imagination of fright
The dark his cover, he's within feet, but quiet
He becomes the night, only the sounds of the wild hears
A breeze movement, duplicating sounds of night, their fears
Kack! Of a lizard, Err! Of a frog, Siss! Of a snake
Your frighten of the dark woods, the bamboo shakes
He is one with the dark, and he stalks
The Nija in dark shadowed leaves, walks
Your nightmare is staring, Kack! Err! Siss!
As each pass a staged coffin, one by one sees, and list
The lurking nightmare in bamboo lunges, silently in each face
A Siss! Petrified eyes! Mouth wide open, silent scream and a pounding heart pace
Damit Dino! You scared the holly Hell out of me!

Dino (67.25.99.3) -- Thursday, January 16 2003, 01:53 am Thanks guys! I appriciate your comments. Glad I got to you. You would be scared of me, if you were riding dirtbike at night and the shadow of night the gray skull mask, lunges from the bammboo. This is a true poem. I read it to my son,"I remember that night Dad!" It was his mask. Real coffin too set just inside the trail. He,He,He,Heeeee |
