Infestation

That tree standing so tall and strong
Bending in the wind, holding its bond
A symbol of strength, majestic, and powerful suggestion
Play in motion, sever root, for destruction
Strong wind comes, weak side expose, too tall
Most powerful, majestic, symbol of strength fall
Only a root, its base, a small link, something overlook
Like a razorknife cutting the gaint tree, now in book
Symbol of strength, its fall cause surrounding chain reation
Smaller trees fall too, surreal, its devastation
Thousands perish, birdnests, ants running, it rain
Trees gone, skyline changed, we're never the same
Future of tall trees, target for destruction
Infestation of bugs, living amongst our nation
Infiltrating the skin, its bark
Laying in wait, even in our park
