Let Go
8 April, 2008
Author: LinzAy
I've been debating
Do I wish I could just forget it all
The beauty of the love and warmth
The pain of the rise and fall
Sometimes I'll tell myself yes
Try to convince myself I don't need those memories
And at that moment my heart breaks again
I can't forget you and me
But wouldn't it be wonderful not to hurt
It'd be great to smile again
But I hold onto false hope
I hang onto all the amazing moments from then
Maybe I shouldn't want to forget
Maybe I should yearn to let go
I need to let go of old words
I need to let go of all the love you use to show
That's all I need to do
....But it's not so easy....
