Into The Mist They Ride
16 April, 2008
Author: Miztrebor
Into the mist they ride,
Five horses, five boys.
Into the mist they ride,
Across the field of green.
Into the mist they go,
Riding along the field:
Innocent of the lives
Given unto them as privilege.
Horses of white below them
Given as gifts for fun.
Suits trimmed and pressed
Upon them to show status.
Minds molded from schooling
Years of solitude in books.
Forced have they been?
Forced to live lives not theirs?
Into the mist they ride,
Innocently by their own wills.
Their innocence fading
The mist engulfing them five,
Boys?
