Scratching At The Window
16 April, 2008
Author: Dennis R
Scratching like a kitten at the window
The sun shadows the screen
Stringing out clouds like cars
The wind is a railroad train
Flowers and trees are budding
The grass and all else is greening
Earth’s axis now slightly tilting
Toward spring the seasons are leaning
Pollen and birds are floating
Sifted by fingers of breeze
Warmth of the sun inviting
Through window I witness these
