Lock And Key
17 April, 2008

He has the key to my heart
Though, I don't believe he'll ever care
That's why I had to leave the lock behind, love
...I left my heart there

It may be broken into pieces
But that lock still holds on tight
And I've tried, emotionally, to reclaim my heart
But it just doesn't feel right

My soul dreams for it
For a smile to shine on his face, for me, again
But he's thrown away the key, I'm sure
All my hope has been abandoned
