The Slamming Surf

The waves continue, never stopping
Before mankind, before the first bug
They're playing in the surf, in and out, and hopping
But the waves, getting bigger and bigger, you dumb slug
Tourist, unaware of it's danger, still laughing and shout
Ignoring signs of Danger! High Surf! and Keep Out!
Hey young lady, be careful! You're too far in
Oh shut up! Beat it! You old geezer, I can swim
Ok? Big wave coming, grabs her by the ass
She's sucked under it's pounding surf, disappear, with such mass
Young lady, her screams of help! Unheard
I risk my life, enter, and fight the surge
Hold this boogie board, next wave, I'll push you over the fall
Slamming surf, undertows, rip tides and all
When you hit, scramble, and aim for parking lot
One big push, Slam! Scramble! Where's my top?
No big thank you? Oh well, What the hell
I'll keep boogie boarding, the waves are swell

Thanks

Thanks! I use to be one of the top boogie boarders in competition at Sandy Beach, on Oahu in the middle 70's. I really did save a young lady from drowning, as well as others. Too bad she lost her top and I got no thank you. Oh well,Thanks!
