Down By The River

You took me by the hand
and said, "Hold on tight."
Your warmth felt nice to me.
You were good to me.
We strolled along the edge of eternity.
Your strength comforted me.
Your laughter intoxicated me.
In the moonlight, I could see a forever made for you and me.
