Again And Again
22 May, 2008
Author: Clive B Ringshall
The silence of your voice drive me insane,
Your touch that no longer exists I hear only in thought,
Once so gentle I craved your time,
Again and Again
Being with you was life in itself,
Now silence has fallen, I have only thoughts,
Thoughts that are meant for only you and I.
Do I miss you and the person you are?
Without a doubt how can I not,
Again and Again,
As time passes on I’m told it will pass,
Each day dawns I feel emptiness inside.
An ole battered heart now a prisoner to feelings of time,
I give in to rapture shared between us both,
Felt like the first time,
Again and Again,
Every day was always the last,
Until the last was not even spoken but acted instead.
Today I saw you looking real good,
Did you feel my heart leap as only you could?
In my thoughts you were,
was I in yours too?
Again and Again,
Never knowing the words.
Today I’ll exist by reading your name,
Where are you now?
Just who could you be?
To do this to me Again and Again
