My Love My Daughter
22 May, 2008
Author: Clive B Ringshall
She’s growing up in every way,
I see her individuality becoming clear,
Once called daddy I was so proud,
Now just dad I’m still so proud,
Unconditionally I love her clear,
She is my daughter, whom I love each day,
She is always the best part of me,
I love her every day of the year,
I long to hold her tight again,
Do you know I love you dear?
Her voice conveys her love for me,
I tell her I love her so it is clear,
Her voice is troubled and tells me that,
In silence I love her and she fears no fear,
Her voice it tells me her days gone past,
My love it holds her very near,
As her father I listen to her every word,
We listen with love and tell it clear,
The bond we have grows closer each day,
The love we have is stronger than string,
The love we have is a special thing,
