Lasting Pearl
23 May, 2008
Author: Dennis R
She grew in softness with smile,
Attentive, but still a girl.
Time would ripen softness, though,
Her smile a precious pearl.
Glittering eyes now darkened,
Darkened hair now shadowed gray.
Smile is still her precious pearl-
And more beautiful today.
