Unrequited Love
25 May, 2008
Author: Ing Twi Demalah
I have been lost in the blue-green of your eyes
Though invisible before them
I have seen and love the way they sparkle
Jealous of the wind playing in your hair
Having not run my fingers through it
Never the less I loved it softness
Not mine to hold
I behaved as though you were
And delighted in your touch
Each time I close mine eyes
Then did the air become filled
With the memory of your perfume
I love, When we dance upon the moon.
I remember so completely
The kiss we never shared
The way you felt in my arms
The taste of your mouth
And in that moment
That serene, untroubled moment
The world and its pain melted from
As the mountain snows
When the warm of spring returns
And I awake again too soon
To silence, and gaze out my solemn window
Alone within my Room
I love, when we dance upon the moon

Bipedalguy (65.96.237.196) -- Tuesday, July 8 2008, 02:27 pm Ing, Like everything you write, this is very beautiful. Usually unrequited love is a sad subject, but this is a view of that subject from another place, and in a different light. It's a view from the world of dreams, illuminated by the glow that only that special world can show. |
Ing (159.105.102.6) -- Sunday, January 31 2010, 02:35 pm I know first hand that when in a situation of unrequited love, that our daydreams and fantisies play out for us in our minds. I want to capture those moments, the feelings we have during our daydreams. Thanks again Bipe. Ing |
