A Friendship Toast
27 May, 2008
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
We've lived through a few decades
And we made it through 2k
We're reaching ages we never
Thought we would survive
We've had some long lonely summers
We've had some fire and rain
May not have climbed our stairway to heaven
But we've felt the passions
And the pains
There has been mudslides
Fires earthquakes and floods
There's been space exploration
There's been.. rap
Now looking forward
What else could there be
I guess it really doesn't matter
Long as my best friends are with me
------- Author's Notes -------
Felt I needed to salute to my on-line and off-line friends. |
