Pages Of Life
3 June, 2008
Author: Clive B Ringshall
You say you can write
Then why do I never a word hear from you?
They say your grammar is better than others,
Then why is it I don’t see?
You once gave your news full of excitement,
Now silence falls upon the page,
I hear from others you’re happy now,
Then why does sadness follow your every step?
The same as others you followed their pace,
The same as others you vowed never to be,
The same as other you followed anyway.
Till these pages come to life,
Till I can see the words in my mind,
Till I feel you once again,
I’ll place you down and say goodnight
