Tiger Smile
8 June, 2008
Author: Hazzard
Thunderous noise of the onlookers clouds my mind,
So long have I listened to their pleas
Followed their commands
Tried to make them happy
So happy did I make them that I have followed to my end
In front of them... in their arena... for their sport
My finale comes wrapped in muscle and fur
Stripes, teeth, claws
They await my terror as their last reward
For their treacherous scheming
I am sorry
No terror do I show
But only a smile for my tiger
And a fire for my soul
Welcome to my arena
Where's your smile now?
