In The Company Of Clouds

Dusk of new spring,
colours shift to the northwest.
Loneliness sinks
heavier than the deep snow hills.

Her isolation could break the roof,
shattering splinters and concrete,
falling heavy on her heart.
Existential reality suffocates her,
sends doom to every happy part
of her existence.

The world has become different.
Nestled in a corner of her huge space,
she occupies very little
Space - Time -

She eats her rice and corn niblets
in the company of clouds.
