Overwhelming
19 June, 2008
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Trying to do what is right,
Keeps us awake at night.
Knowing what we should get done,
Not doing it is wrong.
Not doing the things we should,
Gives us a bad mood.
We have enough in our live full of negativity,
Avoid causing moods that make us act silly.
------- Author's Notes -------
Trying to remember my loved ones birthdays, anniversaries, friends illnesses not wanting to forget someone couldn't relax and go to sleep. Then I thought they know my mind isn't the same so they will understand, then I got my sleep. |

Catyrose (71.39.35.38) -- Thursday, June 19 2008, 09:28 pm We can only do the best we can. We often expect ourselves to be perfect, others are much more understanding. No use worrying about what we left undone or may have forgotten, whatever it is will keep till tommorrow. Definitely not worth losing sleep over. Good message, Barb |
Bipedalguy (65.96.237.196) -- Thursday, June 19 2008, 09:50 pm I can't even remember what day it is anymore. One of my more amusing examples of forgetfullness is when I forget what I had been worrying about. I sometimes write down things I'm worrying about to keep that from happening. It actually helps !! I agree with Catyrose. (Good message) |

anonymous (71.217.48.133) -- Friday, June 20 2008, 04:59 am Here's one and I'm sure everyone is guilty of this. I forget to flush the toilet, so I always double check now. Ha, ha, oh well. |
Bipedalguy (65.96.237.196) -- Friday, June 20 2008, 03:20 pm Hiding your own Easter Eggs is good. Another good one is meeting new friends every day, even at the breakfast table. Lots of new jokes too. |
barb (67.58.197.169) -- Friday, June 20 2008, 03:55 pm So losing your memory can be funny right forgetting jokes and things are like hearing and meeting people for the first time. Thanks for everyones support. |
Terrye* (67.187.237.233) -- Friday, June 20 2008, 11:50 pm i agree w/evry1... my biggest flaw of all times on the subject of forgetfulness is misplacin' my truck keys every so often, ok more so than often !(8 out of 10 i find them misplaced where they belong) I'm ever-so glad that forgetfulness and misplacin' can be used 2gether = ) good one Barb!! |
LinzAy (72.189.15.210) -- Saturday, June 21 2008, 01:22 am I always forget where I put my phone...and it's in my pocket. I also, ALWAYS lose my keys...and sometimes they are actually in my hands. I'm very forgetful! |
