Stubborn
21 August, 2008
Author: LinzAy
I watch you turn your head
Your eyes dart away
Not wanting to see me
...Or maybe wanting to, but you're too stubborn
I introduce myself to your back
Not the best meet and greet
But, I get the point
...Not wanting to, see-I'm stubborn too
I heard you say you love me the same
But I also heard you didn't care
I'm not sure which words to listen to
You talk in circles and it's not fair
I watch my heart pull at your pant leg
Just wanting another chance
I reach out to reclaim it
...Not wanting to, but maybe I shouldn't be so stubborn anymore
