Weak For You
21 August, 2008
Author: LinzAy
I've caught my foot in wire
Got myself in a tangled mess on the floor
I've let you string me along long enough
Don't think I can take it anymore
Don't take advantage of my love
I'm already realizing it's a hope that's insane
Don't take advantage of my heart
Pulling at it's strings and causing me pain
I've caught my hand in the door
Can't close it all the way in fear of the pain
I've let you hold me back long enough, though
Meanwhile, there's nothing I have gained
I've allowed myself to allow you
To tear me down, taking with you everything
I've allowed myself to allow you
To tear me down into shredded pieces of nothing
Don't take advantage of my love
I'm already realizing it's a hope that's insane
Don't take advantage of my heart
Pulling at it's strings and causing me pain
And even after saying all this...I can't resist being weak for you
