Rain
21 August, 2008
Author: LinzAy
Hair soaked and pieces falling in my face
Naked I stand ashamed
In this puddle
In this puddle of freezing pain
Shaking uncontrollably
Cold from the outside in
With nothing here to warm me
I hold onto myself searching desperately for warmth from within
But as with everyone else I let myself down
There's no fire inside that's survived
I collapse and fall to the ground
Straining to not give up some part of me must still be alive...
