Tuneless World
21 August, 2008
Author: LinzAy
The trees dance.
Swaying to a hidden tune.
Time standing still.
Guided only by the light of the moon.
Can I join in on their dance? I wonder.
Hear the music they adore.
Or will I remain stuck here in this tuneless world...
Lost in time that is no more.
My fingers run along their branches.
As my feet stumble upon the earth.
A silent breeze disturbs my hair.
How much of this torture must I endure?
I envision myself collapsing.
Reluctantly giving in to what doesn't remain.
And suddenly their branches pull me in.
After this torture nothing will ever be the same.
