Hidden Tears
31 August, 2008
Author: Dija Abernathy
An echo of past memories,
screaming in your head,
all of the misery,
wishing you were dead,
tear drops streak once dry cheeks,
pain you can no longer hide,
you've held it in so long your weak,
and finally you let yourself cry,
the present fades in a cloud of tears,
as deep inside you die,
all of it built up for years,
you know you can no longer hide,
with an echo of past memories,
screaming in your head,
all of the misery,
still wishing you were dead,
you've cried all your tears away,
your cheeks are dry again,
you swear you wont go another day,
as you use the blade in sine,
it falls to your feet with a clatter,
blood dripping on a hard cold floor,
no one will care it doesn't mater,
you hear screaming coming from behind the door,
an echo of past memories,
screaming in your head,
threw all of your misery,
someone wants you alive instead.
