Grizzly Tales
14 September, 2008
Author: Christian V
The winds blow
the rain calls
even all through the land
does the rivers flow stop
seeking
sending whispers through the air
hunting for long lost grizzly
The euphoria of the
world has changed
thus does he recognize it,
the inevitable signs
as the phoenix sings
the soon to come prophecy
Hard amendments to bear with
but this shall singe the most
if the tales of the truth come true
bringing his fur coat to a
diminished leathery crust
But Alas!
All not in the world
be lost by the consistent
revolving of the seasons
or so at least….he hopes
For only a constant thought
an imprinted sanguinity
brings him
an obdurate peace
“ What am I? A Bear with no fur is not to be deemed a Bear at all!
Lest it comes true, perhaps I can find another coating.
A new serenity and title to befit my name, for now as it stands, I am still a Grizzly!
Therefore, if her world is to change ever more; I may lose my coat but
I shall still find solace in the unknown tales, and perhaps as always, peace shall lay within the stars.”
