Those Words Unspoken
21 September, 2008
Author: Hope
Thought you were my friend
Obviously I was wrong
Your silence seems to say
That I no longer belong
The months you ignored me
Was it my wake up call
I sensed the sinking feeling
As the tears start to fall
All of those words unspoken
I could not comprehend
Still I remember you saying
I was your valued friend
You gave me reason to write
When you kept in touch
Do you still recall the times
Words meant so much
Strange way to treat a friend
To stop communicating
After all that we had shared
Silence is heartbreaking
