Contemplating A Moment
22 September, 2008
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I look to the night sky viewing the evening moon
I am not so vain to think the moment is shared by only I
And I wonder
What of the others that are gazing this very moment
Are they like me.. dreamers
Do they contemplate another crime of life
Should I begin to think
They are visualizing the same dreams as I
Are we all destined at a very moment
To look to the same direction
With all the people of the world
In all the various places
Is it not possible..probable even
That another somewhere is thinking the same thing
Wanting the same answers
Wanting and wishing and dreaming
Or am I alone in my thinking
Dreaming of everything and nothing at all..
Am I really alone
Is life just one big abstract moment
