The Morning Star

Author: Puppet
Shackled to stone while his wings burn in fear
Covered his head so he won’t have to hear
His judgment is nigh, yea his judgment is near
But he will not bow down, not to man’s spoiled leer
Made of fire, not clay!
Man eclipses the Way!
Love naught but God
But God cast him away!
------- Author's Notes -------
No, I'm not a satanist. I just thought it was intriguing when I read about some sects teaching that it wasn't satan's greed or arrogance that caused him to rebel against God, but his absolute love for him (he refused to bow down to Adam, as God instructed all the angel's to do, because in doing so he would be bowing down to someone other than God). |
