Blue Snow Flakes
11 December, 2008
Author: Pondering Red
Radio talking talking,
analysis of elections, cholera catastrophe,
local politics and on and on
the opinions go ramble, rant,
i'm right, i'm right...
I sit, gearing up to
head out
into the sheets of snow covered ice.
Early morning
Blue dawn
I am satisfied ?
Bread and jam.
Night dreams - restless turning
getting up and watching
large blue snow flakes
through the small hallway window.
Open the door for air,
cold welcoming air
flowing dancing through the long hall,
soothing my heated compressed living space.
Many hums throughout the house,
appliances resting gurgling awakening.
Holidays approaching faster than
last years' storms.
People doing sprints,
dashing here and there.
I feel
I am
nowhere
in my quadrant.
I slide on the black ice,
small steps long strides
Not much going on.
Alot to do.
For now, weather the storm outside,
the storm within.
Enjoy the moment,
and then...
What then ?
