Slow Down
13 December, 2008
Author: Shiloh
Saturday seems to be your busiest day, doesn't it?
You work your butt off all week long,
then the weekend finally arrives,
and you hit the floor running...
You don't seem to have time to just relax,
because there is so much that you think you have to do
because you only have Saturday and Sunday
before you have to go back to work...
The weekend doesn't seem to do what it's supposed to do,
does it?
Once in a while you should just... simply... STOP.
You don't have to do everything right now this minute today or else.
Or else what?
The world will collapse?
Life would be a shambles?
Nothing would get done?
Balderdash!
You've been going at things this way
for far too long,
And by the time Sunday evening rolls around,
you're usually more tired than you were
last Friday afternoon.
As you're going in to work on Monday,
mentally you're starting your list
of things you want to get done next weekend...
Once in a while you should just... simply... STOP.
