Acceptance

Author: Barbara Goodhew
Everyday is a struggle doing things in life.
Some people think of it as strife.
I think of it as MY LIFE.
Happy and content now,
To compensate, I learned how.
Doing things different.
To make it a more accepting change,
in MY LIFE.
------- Author's Notes -------
I had to learn to walk and talk after my brain stem tumor operation. It's not perfect but I get around and point alot lol I wrote this because I have seen others that can't even do the little I can do. My left side is messed up but some have both sides, so I feel lucky only having one side |
