Past The Shore
23 May, 2002
Author: Don Fraser
I see the ocean as I have never seen it before,
It has beauty,
Even past the, waves, the sand, and the shore.
I dove below the surface to see what I could see,
There was no one in the deep,
But me.
The fish swam by,
I couldn’t catch them,
I didn’t even try.
The corals had such pretty colors,
Unmatched by,
Any others.
Old hulls of ships were on the bottom, just resting there
They have done their duty,
Now they don’t care.
Oh how I love to go below the sea,
There is no one,
There but me.
