One Small Nail
8 January, 2009
Author: Pondering Red
I found a Dufy on
Mount Royal avenue,
a very large painting
of a blue scene of a room with a view.
It traveled in the back of a taxi
and now hangs in my living room
against a deep red wall.
You hung it up yesterday.
Bravo -
I took it off the wall last night,
thinking it may fall
on my body or my head
while I slept.
You think this is ridiculous.
I think you don't hang
a very large painting
with one small nail
and also
I think that
you don't like me.
