Under My Skin
13 January, 2009
Author: Pamela O'Brien
What elaborate disguises I wear
Hiding behind an image
Of who I once was
Or who I would like to be.....
But in reality am forced to carry on
In the temple that was given to me.
What an amazing facade I've created
Convincing and intricate
Seems like you were on the outside
And I let you in.....
But you cannot feel my hatred
For what lies beneath my skin.
