Sweet Sativa

Oh Sweet Sativa,
so nice and so green.
I don't know how you do it but,
you take the 'me' out of mean.
I light you up
almost every day
to calm my nerves
as I sit back and pray.
You hit so hard
and I cough so much
but, that's what I get
for being a lush.
Your smoke is so smooth
and taste so light.
It sucks we cannot meet
until after midnight.
It's ashamed you're classified
as an illegal drug
when your worst side effect
is to make people hug.
Oh sweet sativa,
I just love what you do.
Now, let's all get together
and light up a few!
