Missing The Miles Away
1 February, 2009
Author: Miztrebor
I Woke early to the morning sun
Not a soul around
It is peaceful, but lonely
As i walk the dew soaked ground
I listen to the wind's song
Blowing gently through the trees
The birds above start to stir
Waking to the morning breeze
All's perfect on this morning
Walking along my way
All's as i'd ever wanted
But i'm missin her today
I can't enjoy these moments
Memories rushing all around
She used to walk right next to me
Now her footsteps make no sound
She had to go miles away
It was the fault of no one
I just long for her return
As a cloudy day longs for the sun
All is lonely on this morning
Walking alone, on my way
There's one wish i'd ever wanted
To be walking with her today
