Five Examples Of My Work: Non-titled
3 February, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
In 298,000 years B.C.
the earliest known dwelling came to be
but a house without love you must agree
is still considered primitive in 2000 A.D.
--
This blank canvas is a success
to patrons of Art who hate excess.
It hangs in this gallery as a test
by letting your imagination do the rest!
--
To retain one's virtue unblemished and pure
and to lead by example is a noble lure
but without any vices it's hard to ignore
that life would be bland and an unchallenged bore.
--
Mondays are redundant and I must digress.
Tuesday to Wednesday I couldn't care less.
Thursday to Friday I will confess
that weekends are leaving me in a mess!
--
A botanical nightmare down the road
in a world without colour getting old.
Pictures of flowers are bought and sold.
This beauty once grew or so I'm told.
