I Love You So Much...but Go Away
7 February, 2009
Author: LinzAy
You ease your foot through the door of my life and work your back in again.
It's just a cruel thing to do.
I guess you may have no clue how difficult it was for me to let you go
...how long it took...
how much of me it drained away.
Step away, love.
I can't risk my heart by welcoming friendship.
Friendship will never be enough for me.
...But, at the same time, you and I...we're not meant to be.
You haven't heard from me in a while for a reason.
Are you missing me now, after all this time?
I missed you the entire time.
I'm not opening myself up again for pain.
Step backwards through the door to my life and exit again.
...Leave me content.
