Untitled Works About Life
11 February, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
With a little shift in the human chain
the spirit of kindness will always remain
as a communicable link we need to sustain
when there's not enough sun and too little rain.
--
Affluence can eradicate all your fears
and wipe away any impoverished tears
but the true wealth of a man disappears
if he's morally bankrupt between the ears.
--
Into this life you were sent
to learn the lessons of life's torment
by equating the ratio of quantity spent
with wondering where the quality went!
--
With this survey completed and long overdue
the tension was mounting and anticipation grew
but extensive research led to one vital clue
that human complexity is understood by so few.
--
Locating the autobahn in your mind
is surely the nexus to an invaluable find
but the potential of the brain could be denied
if you choose to drive on just one side.
