Queen Of The Dark
9 May, 2002
Author: Don Fraser
It is dusk. The sun is settling in the west. Soon it will be dark in this park, and then she will appear. She is well known as the queen of the dark in this town of honest respectful people. The police have tried to capture her to talk to her about scaring people especially lovers that find solitude in the park. But she eludes them by running into the bushes. She has never physically hurt anyone. But she scares them out of their wits. She usually jumps from behind a tree to frighten people as they walk on the parks paths It has been said that her and her lover used walk down those paths in the dark, the paths were only lighted by the moonlight. And then one night, her lover left her never to be seen again. |
