While It's There
18 February, 2009
Author: Ben Franklin
I see the sea,
And I’m able to walk along the sand,
I walk with my Love
And I’m able to hold her hand,
I feel the sun
And I’m able to feel her stare,
I point to the stars,
And I know you there….
------- Author's Notes -------
Be thankful that we can see such beautiful sights, such as the sea crashing against the rocks or gently washing back and forth onto the sand. |

Colin (69.157.6.168) -- Thursday, February 19 2009, 02:21 pm Concise, economical and to the point - which makes it a lovely piece of poetry. So many people take things in life for granted (for example - their environment) Before I go to bed each night I look up the night sky and if I'm early I try to catch the sunrise! "While it's there" - what a beautiful title, Ben! |
