A Crumpled Notebook
24 February, 2009
Author: Hope

vinebar

So much was written
Upon those torn pages
Tears had been shed
Through various stages

In meant to be poems
Pages I have torn apart
On tear stained paper
I poured a broken heart

The feeling of despair
Not even words explain
Mixing tears and ink
Pages release the pain

A crumpled notebook
On pages I would write
More paper was torn
Shedding tears tonight

if at first you don't succeed then try again

Life is like a work in progress. You just have to keep working on it and like your name - hope is something that we all need in order to keep moving forward in a postive refrain. By the way let me know what you think about my writing.
I am looking for a kindred spirit to correspond with!

Fantastic!

This is a great poem, speaks to the deep nature of the poet when they are in those painful moments.....
