Reflection
27 February, 2009
Author: Everett
These thoughts don’t make any sense
My sight got stuck in the crack of the door
Here I go again, putting up my defense
This is what I wanted but I don’t want it anymore.
I’m buried in disease and lost communication
The sky withers away as walls collapse
What happened to answering my calls of desperation?
I was caught up in aimless wings when I fell for the traps.
Old friend, My faith has been dead for some time
Don’t look for me when I’m gone, I won’t be missed
Angel’s are too busy to forgive me for my crime.
Dawn approaches as I wait for the sun to give me one more kiss.
I raise my finger to my throat watching burning wings stumble through the air
The mountain shakes with every glance of the red ocean
I never thought I would have to give in to the devil’s stare
A mirror sits at the edge watching my every motion
