A Purpose In Life: Poems 1 To 5
2 March, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
Jesus let the outcasts know
and those who quit with nowhere to go
the true wealth of how we choose to live
is respectfully based on the love you give!
--
As the mistress of her domain she cannot choke
when this artful performance will try to evoke
the gamut of human emotions without going broke.
The housewife is a genuine masterstroke!
--
The occupational hazard of laboratory mice
certainly can't be very nice
but it's their job to pay a price
so humans don't have to roll the dice!
--
Their complicity had put us in a bind
and frankly they stalled our fertile mind
from aspiring to be one of a kind
as today we left the squares behind!
--
"Forgive and forget" said the stinging bee
"or the bitterness inside will never set you free"
but revenge, they say, is a human philosophy
and the swatter came down quite naturally!
