Please Never Go
27 May, 2002
Author: Don Fraser
If ever you should decide to leave me don't do it now,
Upon my knee’s,
I will bow.
Please never leave me, I am your bough,
My darling I beg you,
Please never go.
It feel’s as light as a feather.
To carry this load of us,
Being together.
I remember the days,
When you enjoyed,
My praise.
Now it goes in one ear and out the other,
You always tell me,
Don't bother.
Those were the days when we were young,
Yes my darling,
That song has been sung.
Thank you for sticking by my side,
Many times,
I have cried.
We will be together through eternity,
My precious
It’s just you and me.
