Mysteries Revealed: Poems 1 To 5
8 March, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
Humpty Dumpty didn't actually fall.
Someone pushed him off the wall
and the facts are in with no time to stall.
An intrepid camera phone captured it all!
--
Alien abductors couldn't take it anymore.
Flatulence should remain on a distant shore.
Fumigating their spaceship will be a cost.
All contact with earthlings has been lost!
--
In what appeared to be a random fall
is the manipulation of a little ball
with sinister intentions behind his call
in the benign environment of the Bingo hall!
--
Locked in their bedroom without a clue
the Hardy Boys were feeling mighty blue
as there wasn't much else they could do.
The mystery was solved by Nancy Drew!
--
Allowing no escape from its eternal grip
are the handcuffs behind this one way trip
and to unlock the mystery with an elusive key
Houdini is still struggling to be free!
