Dark Shadows
10 March, 2009
Author: Pamela O'Brien
Lurking around every corner,
My shadow waits for me....
And as I pass it creeps behind,
Swift and silently,
So that when the sun begins to shine,
My shadow is quick to remind,
That it will never cease to find,
The darkest corners of my mind,
Where it can continue to grow,
Feeding on my fears,
Collecting my insecurities,
And chasing down my tears....
